Sickboy "Time to Play"

"Sickboy has more than upped the ante with this hairsplitting slab of digitized breakestral chaos, never suggesting melodies or functional rhythms it draws from but juggling without remorse on the dividing line between acceptability and grimy flavoured cynism."

This album is probably one of my favourite Sickboy works. It just blends eccentric beats, awkward cartoon themes with some gabber influences.

The track list is:
1. Saturn's Return 4:31
2. Darkwing Droog 3:45
3.Don't Stop Now 5:43
4. Take Me On 5:26
5. Time To Play 5:57
6.Bogan Melmac 3:38
7. Doofemilius 3:36
8. Alundra 3:51
9. Spartan Gabba 5:15
10. Lotsa Pretty 4:05

The tracks I like the most are "Don't Stop Now", "Take Me On" and "Doofemilius".
The track "Don't Stop Now" is probably one of the most intense tracks, perfect for ravin'.

DJ Scotch Egg, one of the most respectable icons in an 8bit experimental scene perhaps, he sure knows how to produce great sounds. He has influences like Karlheinz Stockhausen, John Cage, Steve Reich among others. Imagine gabber played with a Game Boy.Now add extreme distorted vocals. Getting sick? Next you'll mix that with KFC themed songs. Finally, many covers of classic compositions, ranging from Bach to Grieg. It's DJ Scotch Egg what you guys are hearing!...
The track list of this debut album of this colossal genius musician is:
  1. KFC Core
  2. Scotch Chicken
  3. Tetris Wonderland
